Herzlich Willkommen!
The German Language and Culture Institute offers
German language classes to adults who want to learn
German in an alternative setting and for a variety of
reasons. Some of these reasons include:
Courses are scheduled at times that are considerate of
the adults who work.
Classes are small (max. 15 learners) to ensure quality of
instruction
Classes are relaxed, pleasant, and comfortable for you to
safely learn, laugh, and enjoy.
The German Language and Culture Institute offers

- To connect with German-speaking relatives in
Germany or elsewhere - To travel to countries where German is spoken
- To discover personal cultural heritage
- To challenge the mind and keep it fit
- To refresh the German learned many years ago

Your instructor, Antje Carlson
All Classes emphasize
- is a native German, born, raised, and
educated in Germany and Austria. - has a doctoral degree in education with a
specialization in teaching and learning
languages in adulthood (Language
Andragogy) and - brings more than 10 years of adult teaching
experiences to class.
All Classes emphasize
- Learning to speak a well-pronounced
German. - Learning practical phrases for daily quick
conversations. - Learning about cultural traditions, events, and
celebrations. - Sharing of your experiences while travelling
German-speaking countries. - Reading of authentic texts and literature.
- Helping you overcome fear and anxiety of
speaking. - Playing, laughing and having fun in your own
language and/ or in German !!
